March 15, 2006: Mark Lynch, employee of BriteLite Signs, dismantles the marquee of the former Five Points Theatre Wednesday, March 15, 2006, which most recently was Club 5. The long-time landmark is coming down because the building is being redeveloped by local retired businessman Mike Shad and his sons Jack and Bill. Plans include converting the top two floors into loft apartments, the second floor to leased office space and the ground floor will include retail space, according to the developers.
