#thankfulthursday This week, we’re highlighting Barriere Construction for its rising safety leadership. For over a decade, this heavy civil contractor has paved the way for developing infrastructure regionally. But true leaders never stop progressing.A year ago, they partnered to implement daily safety conversations for teams to connect, coach, recognize, and uplift one another through meaningful on-site conversations. Barriere began to utilize daily safety meetings to create an environment that enables leadership feedback loops while championing peer recognition. Their commitments and efforts drove engagement across all levels of the organization, especially highlighting their increase in leadership engagement with field crews.When their parent company, CRH, decided to recognize best practices around safety innovations across 29 countries, Barriere rose to the top. As their recognition shared, “By having them on SmartTagIt, we are seeing accelerated improvement due to the sheer number of constructive feedback comments left by all levels of management.”We applaud Barriere for pouring into their people with care and vision. Values Moment💡The Values Moment is something we carry out at most meetings in to highlight values we believe need to be highlighted and spread across our teams and our industry in order to make a positive impact. Recently, I had the privilege of presenting a "Values Moment" to one of our esteemed clients, HS2 (High Speed Two) Ltd It got me thinking about a single word that encapsulates the four core values they hold: Respect, Leadership, Integrity, and Safety. My first thought is "COLLABORATION". While collaboration is a familiar concept to all of us, it's essential to take a moment to reflect on its significance.
