What is Shakeology?

Our new Shakeology formulas launching in France and the UK are flexible and can be used as they always have been to deliver powerful superfood nutrition. The new formula also offers an option to use Shakeology as a meal replacement. With Shakeology, you can count on potent nutrition and delicious flavours you know and love—whether you drink it as a delicious, anytime shake or a daily meal replacement.

How does Shakeology work with BODi Nutrition Plans?

If you are following a BODi nutrition programme, you can fit Shakeology into your plan the same way you have always done, integrating Shakeology into Portion Fix® or 2B Mindset® daily. The new Shakeology formula will continue to count as a protein option for 2B Mindset and Red Container for Portion Fix. You can also choose to follow the Shakeology Meal Replacement Plan, where you’ll be replacing one or two meals a day with Shakeology, depending on your goals.

	•	To lose weight, replace two meals per day with a delicious Shakeology smoothie and eat one balanced, sensible meal. Breakfast, lunch, dinner – it’s your choice!
	•	To maintain weight, replace one meal per day and eat two balanced, sensible meals.
	•	TIP: What’s a sensible and balanced meal? Keep the meal balanced and about 700 to 800 calories. Include reasonable portions of protein, fresh fruits and vegetables, and whole grains. Most 2B Mindset or Ultimate Portion Fix meals would work great with the Shakeology Meal Replacement Plan.

Does one Shakeology flavor have more nutrients than the others?

Vegan and whey formulas contain different amounts of nutrients, please review nutrition declarations to determine what works for your lifestyle.

Do the vegan formulas have a more gritty/grainy texture?

Some may find the natural texture of the oat, rice and pea protein to be slightly grittier.

How can Vegan Shakeology be prepared with a smoother texture?

Use more ice, blend longer, or use creamy ingredients, like avocado, banana, or yogurt.

Does Shakeology contain any artificial preservatives?

No. Shakeology does not contain any artificial preservatives.

Can I consume Shakeology after the Best Before Date?

Drinking Shakeology past “best before” date means we cannot guarantee delivery of all labelled nutrients or optimal sensory experience. Therefore, we don't recommend it.

Why does the weight of Shakeology packaging vary by flavor?

Due to the variability and density of ingredients in each unique flavor, the weight of Shakeology packaging varies from flavor to flavor.

We recommend drinking Shakeology once daily.

Is Shakeology safe for animals to consume?

No. It is not formulated for animals & should not be consumed by them.

Does Shakeology lose nutritional value 30 or more minutes after preparation?

No, but for best flavor & texture, consume within 30 minutes of preparation.

Is Shakeology a good post-workout supplement?

Yes. Shakeology can help build lean muscle mass because it is high in protein and provides carbohydrates that help promote healthy energy.†

Is Shakeology a good pre-workout supplement?

It isn't ideal. An option designed to boost your workout like Performance Energize is preferable.

When should Shakeology be consumed once opened?

For maximum nutritional value, it should ideally be consumed within 1 month.

INGREDIENTS

Why did the salt increase on the Nutrition Declaration label for all Shakeology flavors?

We updated our labels to reflect the total amount of salt in the product. The prior label reflected the amount of sodium in the product under the heading “salt.” Salt is comprised of sodium and chloride. Importantly, the amount of salt in the product has not changed.

Why did the amount of pea protein increase in Strawberry Shakeology and Vanilla Shakeology?

We increased the level of pea protein in order to more closely harmonize the protein to sugar ratios among all of our whey Shakeology products in the UK.

Why does the color of Shakeology change when mixed with ingredients?

Shakeology uses no artificial coloring; adding ingredients may change its color.

Why is stevia present in Shakeology?

Stevia is a natural sweetener from the leaf of the Stevia plant. It allows Shakeology to have a wholesome sweet taste without having excess sugar and calories. We made a conscious effort to keep added sugars low while satisfying the taste buds of our pickiest eaters!

Why are there slight differences in vitamin/mineral levels among flavors?

All have similar levels of superfoods, with slight differences in flavor-specific ingredients. Vegan formulas are not fortified with added vitamins and minerals.

Why isn't Shakeology certified as organic?

Due to Shakeology's exotic sourcing, certifying every exotic ingredient is very complex.

Do Shakeology nutrients vary by flavor?

Vegan and whey formulas contain slight differences in nutrients.

What are the Shakeology storage instructions?

Store it in a cool, dry place, like a kitchen cupboard.

What is the best way to keep Shakeology fresh?

Keep the bag sealed, or use the Shakeology Home Storage Canister. When storing in a canister, make sure to keep it out of direct sunlight.

What is the shelf life of Shakeology?

The shelf life for Chocolate, Chocolate Vegan and Strawberry is 1 year from the time of manufacture, if unopened. The shelf life for Vanilla is 10 months from the time of manufacture, if unopened. Drinking Shakeology past shelf-life means we cannot guarantee delivery of all labelled nutrients or optimal sensory experience.
